嗯,您没看错,本书的最大价值,也是最值得一起品读和学习的特点,就是其作为标准的教育哲学的教科书的整全性和专业性。 - 其涵盖了最基本和最重要的教育哲学的基础概念的辨析和阐释(如果您也同意的话,这是目前国内本行业的弱项,甚至可以说是极弱项;那么,在基本的教育哲学概念上不清晰和不完整的话,会对长期的教育实践带来怎样的影响呢?我想就不用我多说了)。
- 作者甚至很贴心地在正式地阐述全面的Christian educational philosophy之前,还专门为缺乏(西方)哲学底子的读者撰写了两章的内容(2章和9章;众所周知,教育学的基础是哲学,嗯),帮助我们可以更为扎实和全面地把握他在本书中要构建的教育哲学观念与实践道路。

别说,我曾经有学生就真的是公立学校教师,也专门问过我这个问题。我想,作者在此已经对这个真正的难题(当然主要针对他的本文化读者群体)做出了颇有深度和实践性的回应。这是只为狭义的“教圈教育”服务的书籍和教材很难做到的。眼光决定了开始的基准。而基准引导了未来的实践广度与深度。此中奥妙,无需多言。
